Innovation Led Economy: The Malaysian Experience

Innovation Led Economy: The Malaysian Experience

Organized by :

Technopreneurs Association of Malaysia and TiE Malaysian Chapter

In both the 10th Malaysia Plan and the New Economic Model, Innovation has been identified as one of the key drivers to transform Malaysia into a High Income & High Value economy. The Government has also formed the National Innovation Council and the Unit Innovasi Khas (UNIK) as a division under the PM's Office to show the seriousness of the Government in adopting Innovation as a policy for growth.
However the question remains whether Malaysia is an "Innovation-Led Economy" and if it is not how it can achieve this strategy.
What are we doing within our innovation framework so far, and how can we improve it to raise the competency of Researchers and Entrepreneurs to be among the best in the region if not the world? Are we ready for the global market? Are we ready to change?
Join us at this panel discussion, learn from our prestigious panelists and explore the ways in which you could adopt innovation in your daily practice.
